In Ertha, each nation’s prosperity is not simply inherited, it has to be earned! Competitiveness in the global markets is reliant on an industry’s continued development and innovation of the goods that they produce.
Industries are formed of businesses founded by players. They are the core method of producing resources and products in the Metaverse. All businesses are upgradable through five tiers, each adding additional slots to increase numbers of employees and site security.
There are two main types of business - Resource and Product. Understanding how they operate is easy!
Resource Business
Certain resources require factories to be placed close to the source’s location. In order for a Resource business to function it needs to be fed the natural resources found on its HEX. For example, a player wanting to produce wood will need to place their factory within the borders of the HEX that has a strong supply of that resource.
Product Business
Businesses producing products cannot exist without Resource businesses. In order to produce any kind of product, raw or harvested materials sourced from Resource businesses must be supplied to the Product businesses warehouse for production to begin.
Ertha’s innovations in the Play-to-Earn space allow players to create fully-fledged businesses that earn real income. Landowners that manage to build powerful businesses with strong workforces will be the first to reap the benefits!
Ultimately, most nations succeed in specific industries because they manage to harness the power of the resources that their land has been blessed with. However, it’s essential that the progress of neighboring countries is monitored closely to ensure they don’t start chipping away at a corner of the market that was thought to be under control.
