Ertha Beta v0.5 Launching March 7th

Hello, Erthians! We’re excited to announce the date for the launch of v0.5 — the first Tuesday of March!

Beta v0.5 will introduce the first iteration of terraforming & building. To get valuable feedback from the community, everyone will be able to try these features in the demo environment without spending any Ertha tokens.

Then, with v0.6, landowners will be able to start working on their own land and shape the Ertha Globe. Those changes will be permanent and Ertha Tokens will have to be spent!

Behind the scenes, we’ve been creating dozens of updated in-game building assets and props (get ready to see their showcases on our Twitter!), finalizing wallet connections (token and NFT transfers between the blockchain and the game), updating the Ertha NFT Smart Contract (more info about that soon!), back-end work to handle the storage of 1000’s of uniquely generated HEXs and many more bug fixes and improvements.

Even though the update launches in March, February will be VERY exciting. Stay tuned for unique news. And happy new month!
