Ertha creation: how we found the EYES — the deep gaze to embody the insanity we’re about to dive into
First, a quick glance of what Ertha is. It’s not a beautiful land for sure. It’s probably the worst scenario for us as humans to end with. There’s only sorrow, no compassion or forgiveness. It’s just business, a survival fight. The utopian parallel world we are heading to with our spoiled way of living and harmful habits. Let’s hope that will not happen, BUT there is no better way of improving the future than imagining it.
Here’s a way to rule our destiny — lets fake our future to change the present.
Making the Ertha face was a long way to go. What is the best way to scare you, to make you think, shake your quiet routine? Surely, we could be showing empty streets or collapsed buildings… But objects cannot tell a story, they can not produce an intense gaze. Could they be so drastic to f*ck your mind enough?
And we came across with what is precious, the most important, something that would break your heart to lose. A pure beauty, almost a woman, but still a bit of child — a synergy of a start and end. The deepest eyes of pain and sorrow — that’s what we’re about to lose. A blink — that’s it. No future, but a hope.
A huge casting was made to find the One to lose. The One we shall regret. The girl to embody our insanity and push the deep dive in our ideas. The eyes are the key. That’s the mirror, that’s the soul-gate and that’s exactly what our casting director was looking for by seeing hundreds of models around the country.
And there she comes. I’m Silvija, she said. No more questions asked, it’s her. The casting director cannot hide his smile — we found her, no more doubt. Just a small formality to ask where she’s from and etc.
Moving forward, a studio and a team of professionals was arranged. Thanks to the talented Karolina’s makeup — scars, cuts, fake blood, and all the gore — Silvija from “Supermodels” was slowly but surely becoming the face of Ertha. Behind the scenes, the skilled photographer Erikas remarkably captures the moment while mastermind Linas follows the creative process every step of the way.
Metamorphosis is done, we have the eyes. One more step ahead, Ertha is almost there.
Ertha is a MMO 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate) game with extensive opportunities to satisfy one’s need for curiosity, competitiveness and social recognition through roleplaying in a vast geopolitical map.
With three distinct characters to select from and endless possibilities to alter them, players themselves will be the creators of their own narrative and wealth both in virtual and real worlds.
