Happy Monday, Erthians! It’s time to share more about what our developers have been working on since the last Ertha Beta update. Ertha is moving forward, and its looks are changing fundamentally — this blog is just a small snapshot of what’s coming next, and the leaks speak for themselves!
Play and Earn
Nearly all Erthians would agree that the heart of the game is the Economy. Creating a fully functional economy simulation inside the metaverse is no easy task, but we are making steady progress. Resources, Production, Recipes, Land Research, Blueprints, Trading and many other vital Play-and-Earn Mechanics are continuously being tested internally. It’s the most important part of the game that we have to nail right from the beginning, therefore it’s receiving most of our attention!
Graphics
At the same time, we’re improving the visual experience of Ertha from the ground up. Hundreds of in-game models, assets, shaders, textures, decals and more are all receiving a facelift. We’ve taken extensive community feedback on this one, and have understood that eye-candy is important for our players! Take a look at this example of the new, improved Ertha Beta:
Characters
Erthians themselves are also getting an upgrade! In-game characters are receiving a huge graphical improvement. This also calls for new, more realistic animations. Together with new graphics shown above, this will make the new Ertha a completely different experience than it was before, for the better.
Terrain Generation & Editing
Landowners, of course, are a huge priority. Not only are they the driving force of Ertha’s economy, they’re also going to be shaping the world we all live in. Will it be for the better? That’s up to you to decide. We’re just the ones that provide the tools. Terrain generation and editing of various biomes — coming soon. Get ready to see your land in action!
Construction
As soon as you terraform your land into what you’ve always been dreaming of, you’re going to want to build your first properties! Plan your city, town or countryside and build it using the construction tool. Have you already started thinking about how your piece of the Globe will look like? Let your imagination run wild on this one!
Landowner Benefits
We’re keen to reward the Landowners of Ertha not only with the fundamental in-game revenue generation system, but also for passively owning land NFTs. Work has started on a system that will provide fair bonuses to each and every holder of Ertha NFT land. This will make the wait for Ertha v1.0 much more of a breeze! We’re still keeping a tight lid on this one, but expect to hear the juicy details in the near future.
Multiplayer
Just recently, our developers have undergone the first Ertha Multiplayer tests, and completed the very first meetup of the Ertha Metaverse! We know Erthians are incredibly keen to finally see other Erthians inside the game. We’re working overtime on various in-game social interactions, local and global chats, digital swag and more. Who are you planning to meet first?
Battle Mode
It’s no secret that Ertha is not exactly for the light hearted. Conflicts, disputes and even wars will be a dangerous reality of the metaverse. However, it is up to us to provide a fair experience for everyone involved. The battle tools and mechanics of Ertha are actively being created, while keeping in mind an enjoyable experience. More details will be released as progress is made!
Ertha is making huge leaps of progress, and development is efficient — we’re actively working on many systems at once, which saves a lot of time and resources! New updates are just around the corner — stay tuned.
