As we move further into the 21st century, the traditional definition of “work” continues to change. Automation, artificial intelligence is becoming a threat for the common worker, not to mention the constantly shifting skill requirements.
People have already started looking for ways to earn a living non-traditionally. Crypto and NFTs are the new frontiers of earning passive income or even working full time.
Landowners — the first step towards passive income
In the ERTHA metaverse, players will be able to make use of the Play-2-Earn system, earning crypto tokens that can be traded and have real value. There will be many ways for players to earn these tokens, but the most notable way is becoming a landowner.
Landowners are considered players who own land (HEXs) in the ERTHA metaverse. These land plots are already available for purchase in the private sale. Currently, we have 11 countries available, but we’re constantly adding more. 350,000 HEXs will be available in total.
In ERTHA, owning land opens up unlimited possibilities and opportunities to build, work, earn, learn, and more. Using their skills and knowledge, players will be able to develop their land by building, accessing resources, and more. This in turn will increase the land’s value, which the landowner will be able to trade with other players and make a profit.
Working — the more you do, the more you get
Being an owner of a HEX in the metaverse of ERTHA also means you’re entitled to earn revenue from everything financial that happens on your HEX. Let’s say you rent out a plot of land, for a business to be developed by another player. You’ll earn tokens by collecting rent and some revenue from his business transactions.
Of course, businesses will create jobs — skilled players will be able to work in various positions and earn their salaries. The Play-2-Learn aspect plays a strong role here — the more skilled a worker is, the more income they will be able to gain.
